Name of this website "Aloft Alight" can have many different meanings. But in every of these meanings significant role plays  the word "light". Being a basis of whole life light also gives a possibility to exist for such art form as photography.

Photography can be as "simple" as just a reflection of facts - results of photons hitting the surface. At the same time, it can also be something beyond that. In my work I attempt to find and capture the soul of a moment.

Currently I live in Dnepropetrovsk city, Ukraine and occasionally travel to other locations of our country as well as abroad for photography projects.

My work can be found on different websites, presentations, video and print media. During last 3 years a few calendars with my images were printed and distributed in Ukraine and abroad. My partners are different international and local not-for-profit organizations such as iscvt.org, ycan.org, alldifferent-allequal.info.

I love to travel and sometimes I take part in international conferences on different topics, leading photography classes. One of the latest events like this was held in Wroclaw, Poland, in spring of 2007.

In summer of 2007 there was a photo exhibition about Ukraine in Paris with a few of my works included.

I love "travel photography" and photo journalism. My field of interest also covers portrait photography, nature, street photography, sports, wedding photography and other genres.
